User Options

The EdjConsole allows you to create and manage your own organization for managing users, buckets, applications, files, functions, and so on, which are specific to your organization.

Make sure you have the required permissions to add or modify resources in the EdjPlatform, which are based on group permissions assigned to each user group. See Groups for details.

When you click your User Profile icon, the User Configuration Menu displays.

The following table describes each menu option.

Settings

Navigate to the Organization Settings page.
If you are not currently viewing an Organization, the Select Organization dialog displays.

Navigate to the Help (Documentation) site.

Sign Out

Sign out of the current instance.

Settings

When the user clicks the Settings option or edits an organization on the My Organization tab, the Organization Summary page displays.

By default, when you click User Profile > Settings, the Organization Summary page displays.

Card Description

settings number apps

Displays the number of Active (green) or Inactive (red) Applications.
When you click Active or Inactive, you are redirected to the Applications page, which is filtered by the status you clicked.

Displays the number of Active (green), Inactive (red), Busy (orange), and Initializing (yellow) nodes associated with the organization.

settings domains

Displays the number of domains associated with the organization.

settings buckets

Displays the number of buckets associated with the organization.

Attributes

This option displays the name of the Organization and the available resource limits for that specific Organization.

You can change the name of the organization or Tax ID at any time.

Users

This option allows you manage users associated with an organization.

Click on the User to view the User Fly-in.

Click the Invites tab to view the users that have been invited to the organization and resend invites, as needed.

Groups

All users within an organization must be associated with at least one of the system-generated user groups.

The following groups are system-created and available to all users, per administrator approval.

  • Administrators: Can perform any operation on any resource within the respective organization.

  • Developers: Can perform any operation on all applications and buckets (and related child resources) within the respective organization.

  • Node Operators: Can perform any operation on the nodes (and related child resources) owned by them within the respective organization.

  • Anonymous User: Users within this group can perform function execution operations within the respective organization.

Each user group has access to the following functionality.

This option displays all the invoice and shipping addresses you have associated with the organization.

When you click Add an Address, the Add an Address dialog displays.

The Add an Address dialog consists of the following objects.

Object Description

Type Drop-down Menu

Select one of the options.
Invoice Address, which is used to send plan invoices.
Shipping Address, which is used when items need to be shipped to your organization from EDJX.

COUNTRY drop-down menu

Select the country of origin for the address.

NAME text field

Enter person of contact for the invoice or shipment.

EMAIL text field

Enter the email address for the point of contact for the invoice or shipment.

ADDRESS text field

Enter the address associated with the invoice or shipment.

CITY text field

Enter the city name associated with the address.

STATE drop-down menu

Select the state or providence associated with the address.

PHONE NUMBER text field

Enter the 10-digit phone number for the point of contact to associate with the invoice or shipment address.

MOBILE NUMBER text field

Enter the 10-digit mobile or secondary number for the point of contact to associate with the invoice or shipment address.

ZIP CODE text field

Enter the mailing zip code associated with the invoice or shipping address.

Only one invoice address and one shipping address can be created.

When you click on the Address row, the Invoice Address fly-in displays.

This Fly-in allows you to change the address details, if needed.

Click Save to store your changes.

Activity

This option allows you to view all the activities performed across all the applications and associated functions in an organization.

Click any of the actions to view the corresponding fly-in window.
The information in this window is read-only.

My Profile Panel

When you click User Profile > My Profile, the My Attributes page displays.

The My Organizations tab consists of the following objects.

Object Description

Create Organization button

Click to create an organization.

Search Organizations text box

Enter the name for a specific organization. The view displays any organizations that match the text entered.

List or Grid view icon

Click the List icon to view the information as a table.
Click the Grid icon to view the information as cards.

Organization table/card

Displays the system-generated identifier (ID) for the organization, the user-configured name (NAME), the number of applications, nodes, and domains associated with the organization, and the organization creation date.
Click on or hover over an Organization Name, and then click the Edit icon to be directed to the Organization Attributes page.

The My Attributes panel consists of the following objects.

AVATAR image

Click the Avatar Powered by Gravatar to navigate to the https://en.gravatar.com/ website and create a custom profile icon.

NAME text field

Name of the user.
This name displays throughout the Platform to identify user ownership and actions.
You can modify this field at any time.

USER NAME text field

Read-only.
Configured at initial setup and used by the system to identify users.

EMAIL text field

Read-only.
Email address used on the login screen and for notification purposes.
Must be a valid email address.

PHONE text field

User-defined 10-digit phone number for the user.

MOBILE PHONE text field

User-defined 10-digit mobile or secondary number for the point of contact associated with the invoice or shipment address.

COUNTRY drop-down menu

The country of origin for the address.

STATE drop-down menu

The state or providence associated with the address.

ADDRESS text field

The address associated with the invoice or shipment.

CITY text field

The name of the city associated with the address.

ZIPCODE text field

The mailing zip code associated with the invoice or shipping address.

TIMEZONE drop-down menu

User-configured timezone.

ID field

Read-only.
System-generated user identification value.

Save button

Becomes active when the NAME, PHONE, or TIMEZONE changes.

Change Password button

When clicked, the Change Password dialog displays.

Signout Of All Devices button

Clears the login tokens for all login instances.
